Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your personal data held by Swiplay, including data collected through connected platforms such as Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. You stay in control of your data at all times.

Delete your account from the app

The simplest way to erase all of your data is to delete your account directly from your settings.

  1. Sign in to Swiplay and open Settings → Account.
  2. Choose « Delete my account » and confirm with the one-time code sent to your email.
  3. Any remaining withdrawable balance is paid out automatically, then your data enters a 14-day grace period before permanent erasure.

Disconnect an Instagram, YouTube or TikTok account

If you only want to remove the data tied to a connected social account (access tokens and stored statistics) without deleting your Swiplay account, disconnect the platform from Settings → Connected accounts. The access token and stored statistics for that platform are deleted immediately.

Request deletion via Instagram / Meta

For Instagram and other Meta products, you can also start a deletion request from Meta directly: go to Instagram/Facebook Settings → Apps and websites, remove « Swiplay », and choose to request removal of your data. Meta forwards your request to Swiplay, which honours it automatically through a dedicated data-deletion callback and erases the data collected through that connection.
